Welcome to Hope lutheran Church
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus' blood and righteousness;
No merit of my own I claim
But wholly lean on Jesus' name.

The Bible
We believe the Holy Spirit verbally inspired human authors to write what we call the Bible, which is the inspired and inerrant Word of God. It is the only infallible rule for faith and life.
"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness" - 2 Timothy 3:16
Baptism
God works through plain water and the word of God to work forgiveness of sins, rescue from death and the devil, and give salvation to all who believe.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." - Matthew 28:19
Lord's Supper
Jesus gives us His body and blood under the bread and wine for the forgiveness of our sins, life and salvation.
"The Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, 'This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.' In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.'” - 1st Corinthians 11:23-25
